The lot where the Zafiro building is located has 1,590m2 and is located in the highest residential neighborhood of the city: Bellavista. The starting point of the project begins with understanding the shape and topography of the land. The building is shaped like an "L" creating a support and containment plaza on the ground floor, generating a hierarchical open public space for all users and inhabitants of the area. The building is 6 stories high from the street level up and 3 stories down where 2 of them are housing apartments due to the natural unevenness of the land. The volumetric composition manages to clearly zone the apartments that are divided by a central illuminated circulation. The design of this project was thought in a linear organization where the apartments make the most of the views that the height of the neighborhood offers. The main square of the project becomes a meeting or stay point supported by a friendly design of landscaping and urban furniture.
